Remote Touch is designing a future smart-socket monitoring path. It is not available to order today.
What the future policy will mean
Compatible devices are expected to send a heartbeat every five seconds. If an accepted heartbeat is absent for one minute, the future system can report a device-reachability or connectivity-loss condition.
That absence alone does not prove a power outage. A more precise power-loss statement would require a compatible explicit degrading-power or dying-gasp signal.
