Start with the measurement, then choose compatible equipment.
One physical device can produce different measurements. Remote Touch treats each usable measurement source deliberately so the right policy is applied to the right condition.
Compatibility is a customer-protection rule.
A temperature pack requires a compatible temperature measurement. A future multi-measurement pack, such as HVAC, will require the complete compatible sources it needs. We do not expose a checkout configuration until those requirements are satisfied.
